Complete user guide for Location Lens with step-by-step instructions. Learn how to generate reports, read your scores, manage credits, and share reports.

The Location Lens Help Centre contains everything you need to get the most out of your location analysis reports — from generating your first report to understanding every score and sharing results with your team.

Getting started

  • Creating an account — sign up with your email address to access your dashboard and manage your reports and credits
  • Purchasing credits — navigate to the Pricing page, select a credit pack, and complete payment securely through Stripe
  • Generating your first report — enter a full residential address in the search form, select your buyer profile (family, investor, professional, retiree, first home buyer, or relocator), choose Summary or Detailed, and submit. Your report will be ready within minutes.

Understanding your report

  • Overall livability score — a composite score out of 100 weighted for your selected buyer profile
  • Category scores — individual scores for all 8 categories: Safety, Schools, Transport, Lifestyle, Property Values, Rental Demand, Growth Potential, and Demographic Fit
  • Domain analysis — narrative sections covering each of the 4 strategic domains with supporting data and context
  • Buyer profile comparison — how the location scores for all 6 buyer profiles simultaneously

Managing your dashboard

Your dashboard shows all reports you have generated, your current credit balance, and your account settings. Reports are stored in your account indefinitely and can be re-downloaded or shared at any time. Generating a report always uses one credit; viewing or sharing a previously generated report does not use any additional credits.

Sharing reports

Every report includes a shareable link that allows anyone to view the full report online without needing a Location Lens account. Share your report with your partner, your buyers agent, your mortgage broker, or your financial adviser directly from your dashboard.
